Lifestyle Photographer - Sales


  • Must contribute ideas and work with the lifestyle show host or sales multimedia journalist/s and the sales team to help bring a compelling visual element to the story.
  • Must be able to conduct interviews themselves, as well as set up cameras, lighting and sound for both studio and live shots and capture B-roll (background scene video) footage as needed.
  • Reviews assembled footage on monitors and shift scenes as necessary and knows how to edit audio. (Some stations use news photographers for this sales effort while others assign a videographer directly to the sales department for this specific function.)


  • Comfortable working in a sales environment.

Experience Level

  • At least some experience working with professional shooting and editing equipment.
  • A high school diploma is required and a minimum two years of experience operating video equipment and editing.
