Sarah Miles is the News Director at WMBF News in Myrtle Beach where she has been since May of 2010. She started her career as a producer and had many opportunities to grow as a journalist and manager in many different newsrooms. Before moving to South Carolina, Sarah spent 8 years at Raycom Media’s affiliate station, WAVE, in Louisville, Kentucky. That is where she made her first move into news management.
"Informing the community, holding the powerful accountable, and being an impactful team of journalists is our goal every day. WMBF News is an aggressive team that will get answers, expose problems and tell the many stories of our community."
Sarah is married to Scott and they have two daughters.
"We absolutely love the Grand Strand. We get to live in a place where millions of people take a week's vacation every year."
